Zip line Questions?

Are there age restrictions?
For the sake of safety there are restrictions for participation. Participants must be a minimum of 5 years old and weigh 40lbs. The maximum allowable weight is 255lbs.

Why is there a weight restriction?
Participants must be a minimum 40lbs. and can weigh no more than 255 lbs. Every guest will be weighed. This restriction is put in place based on the speed of our zip-lines, not the amount the cables can hold. They can hold a lot more than that! (26,000 lbs!)
We do not allow tandem zip-lining due to the increased risks involved in this practice. However, due to the design and nature of our course we are able to accommodate guests as light as 40lbs.

Are there health restrictions?
You should be prepared for some light physical activity like climbing ladders up to 25 feet in height, walking short distances over uneven terrain, and lifting up to 10 lbs.

Anyone with the following conditions should consult a physician to determine whether or not it is appropriate to participate in a adventure tour:

  • Heart conditions
  • High blood pressure
  • Neck and/or back issues
  • Dizziness
  • Seizures
  • Debilitating fear of heights
  • If you are pregnant, you will not be allowed to ride the zip-lines.

No smoking, alcohol, or drug use is permitted at any time prior to or throughout the tour.
We are committed to make our tour as accessible as possible to our participants. While there are certain restrictions that have been put in place to protect the public, we are often able to accommodate individuals outside of these parameters with advanced notice and approval by the tour manager.

Boulderline (Zipline) Adventure Programs LLC is not obligated to complete a tour if participants are found to be endangering the safety of themselves, others, or the environment. Refunds will not be given in these situations.

I have a reservation and it is raining, or calling for rain, what do I do?
Weather is very hard to predict, so we tend to make the call as close to the tour time as possible. We do run tours in light or moderate rain. if there is extreme weather such as storms, high winds or heavy rain we will cancel the tour, but in light to moderate rain we will still run the tour. Dressing for the weather is important and the participant’s responsibility.
